Job Title: Salesforce Administrator (Nonprofit Sector)

Job Summary:
TechOhana has recently partnered with a Not-for-profit company who are on the lookout for a Salesforce Administrator. The Salesforce Administrator for the nonprofit sector plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing Salesforce platforms tailored specifically to the unique needs of nonprofit organizations. This individual is responsible for ensuring that the Salesforce environment is configured to support the organization’s mission, streamlining operations, enhancing donor relations, and improving data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Configuration and Management:
Maintain and configure Salesforce for the nonprofit, including NPSP (Nonprofit Success Pack).
Customize objects, workflows, reports, and dashboards to meet the specific needs of the organization.
Experience in reporting, Excel, Power BI & Form Assembly
Manage data imports, exports, and ensure data integrity within Salesforce.
User Support and Training:
Provide day-to-day user support, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions in a timely manner.
Train staff on Salesforce best practices, new features, and updates relevant to the nonprofit sector.
Create and maintain user documentation and training materials.
Process Optimization:
Work closely with departments to understand their needs and develop automated workflows and processes.
Implement solutions to optimize fundraising, volunteer management, program tracking, and donor engagement.
Conduct regular system audits and prepare for Salesforce releases to ensure continued alignment with organizational goals.
Data Management and Reporting:
Oversee data quality and consistency, ensuring that information within Salesforce is accurate and up-to-date.
Create and manage reports and dashboards that provide insights into donor trends, fundraising effectiveness, and program outcomes.
Utilize Salesforce to support grant reporting, impact analysis, and board presentations.
Integration and Innovation:
Manage integrations with third-party applications such as email marketing tools, accounting software, and online donation platforms.
Stay informed about the latest Salesforce developments, particularly within the nonprofit space, and implement new technologies that can enhance organizational effectiveness.
Lead projects related to Salesforce enhancements, including system upgrades and the implementation of new features or applications.
Qualifications:
Salesforce Administrator certification is required; additional certifications like Nonprofit Cloud Consultant are highly desirable.
3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a strong focus on nonprofit organizations.
Proficiency with NPSP and other nonprofit-specific Salesforce tools.
Strong understanding of nonprofit business processes, particularly in fundraising, donor management, and volunteer coordination.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to train and support users at all levels of the organization.
