Position:Salesforce Developer

Location:Manchester (Hybrid)

Contract Type:Outside IR35

Rate:DOE (Dependent on Experience)


Key Requirements:


Industry Experience:

  • Telecommunications (Telco):

While experience in the Telco industry is highly desirable. Having a background in Telco would give you a strong advantage, particularly when working on projects involving customer relationship management, billing systems, and customer service solutions specific to the telecommunications sector. Familiarity with common Telco business challenges and systems integration in this industry would be an asset.


Technical Skills:

  • Vlocity (Salesforce Industries):

Vlocity (now Salesforce Industries) is a critical tool for industry-specific Salesforce solutions. Experience with Vlocity will allow you to design, develop, and implement tailored solutions, especially for industries like Telco. You’ll be responsible for handling industry data models, customer journeys, and guided interactions, making Vlocity expertise a key component of this role.


  • DevOps Tools:

Proficiency with DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Copado, or Gearset is essential for smooth, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) in Salesforce environments. Experience with these tools will enable you to streamline the development lifecycle, automate processes, and ensure code quality and consistency across the platform.


  • Apex:

As Salesforce’s proprietary programming language, Apex allows developers to execute flow and transaction control statements on Salesforce servers. Expertise in Apex will enable you to develop custom business logic, integrations, and robust backend processes, providing tailored solutions to meet client needs.


Lightning Web Components (LWC):

  • Proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC) is crucial for modern Salesforce development. LWC allows for the creation of reusable, efficient, and scalable components within Salesforce’s Lightning Experience. In this role, you’ll design intuitive user interfaces and ensure high performance across the platform.
